Weekend at Great-Grandma's house

This weekend we visited Great-Grandma Goodine in Maine. Grandma Martha was there too. We had a great time being with our Grandmas!!! On Saturday we took a ride to Rangeley for the Snowdeo. It was fun but COLD!!!!! It had snowed a few days before we arrived so that was fun to see and play in. Grandma Martha took us up and down the road on the sled.....we hope it snows in Swarthmore soon!!! Hope you feel betterGreat-Grandma...We Love You!!!!

Christmas Day cont'd

Well Jake and Noah had a huge surprise waiting for them at Aunt Shannon's. Aunt Shannon, Uncle Bill, Uncle Dave, Molly and Kate all chipped in and got them a big catepillar power wheels. We couldn't get them out of it. Unfortunately it rained so they didn't get to ride it as much as they would have liked. Thank you everyone...we love you!!!!!

Christmas Day

Santa was here....Santa was here. Jake and Noah must have been good boys because Santa left them like 10 toys each!!! It was so much fun watching them open their gifts. Once the gift opening was done we headed to Aunt Shannon's for breakfast. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Christmas Eve

Tonight we went to Mom Mom Barbara's for Christmas Eve dinner. This morning we said goodbye to Mickey and tonight we are waiting for Santa. Dinner was great and it was nice spending time with family and friends. We hope Santa is good to you this year!!!

Last Day

Today we left Disney World. It was one of the best weeks we have ever shared as a family. The weather was wonderful, we took our time and saw everything we wanted. There wasn't anything we wanted to do that we didn't do. Jake and Noah were excellent the whole trip!! On the flight home Jake and Daddy got to sit in the cockpit of the plane. Our pilot was super nice. As you can see in the pics the boys slept peacefully the whole way home.

Chef Mickey

Tonight we had dinner at Chef Mickeys in the Contemporary hotel. It was so fun to have dinner with all of the disney characters we all know and love. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald were all in attendance. Jake and Noah were so outgoing through the whole night. It was a really, really great time for all of us!!!

Wilderness Lodge

Today we went to the Wilderness Lodge for lunch. Jake and noah enjoyed this hotel alot. They liked the teepees and the totem poles. If mommy had her choice of hotels this would be it. Noah especially liked the bridge over the stream that runs through the hotel.

Magic Kingdom

Today we took it easy and hung out by the pool in the morning. In the afternoon we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to catch some rides we missed and the afternoon parade. Jake got to visit with Pooh and Tigger. The weather had been fantastic. Is has not rained at all and has been about 80 everyday. We are having a great time!!!

Grand Floridian

Today we stopped at the Grand Floridian to look at the real, life sized gingerbread house. It was beautiful as was the whole hotel. Daddy said that one day we will stay here...mommy just laughed. It was nice to sit in the lobby and listen to the live orchestra and watch all of the people coming and going.

MGM

Today we went to MGM. We had a great lunch with the "Little Einsteins and JoJo and Goliath." Noah and Jake thought it was so cool that they could hug and talk to JoJo. We saw many great attractions at MGM and it was Mommy's favorite park so far. The parade featured all kind of cool cars and Daddy really liked that. We stayed to watch Fantasmic at 7:30. It was an awesome display of water, fire, fireworks, boats and characters that featured Mickey as the Sorcerers apprentice. It was a wonderful way to end a great day.

Epcot

Today we went to Epcot. It was another beautiful day in Florida. The kids especially like the huge Christmas tree and the Finding Nemo show. Daddy especially enjoyed the beer from around the world!! Jake and Noah have been real troopers and have been really fun to travel with.
